Hello, I’m Cindy, a designer and illustrator from Amsterdam, living in Zurich. I see design as a way to spur curiosity, stay open minded and a little subversive.
Studied Visual Arts and Design in Groningen (NL). Subsequently worked for various well-known design agencies in Amsterdam. Alongside her agency work, she realized independent design and illustration projects and taught at Mediacollege Amsterdam, until her passion for mountaineering led her to Switzerland.
In Zurich, she deepened her expertise in User Interface and User Experience Design, working on a wide array of projects ranging from book design to Swiss television. She served as Design Lead at an industrial startup specializing in machine learning services, and designed user-centered experiences at Zeix, Tamedia, and Nose Experience Design.
Today, she bridges her rich design background and analytical skillset with education as a Secondary School Teacher for Technical Design, Visual Arts, and Mathematics in Zurich, while pursuing her Master’s degree at the PHZH.
In addition to mountaineering, she enjoys drawing comics and is a passionate speed skater.
